Alter Ego Dance Troupe was founded in March 2006 by Brendon Hansford. His aim was to produce an amateur Hip Hop dance company that will challenge the boundaries of dance and allow participants to have the opportunity to enjoy developing and maximising their potential within a local based company.
Instantly an impact was made on the dance scene with our first performance being the South London Street Dance Championships 2006 where we won first place in the Teams Section. Since then we have gone from strength to strength, performing in locations across the UK and Europe.
The Troupe is made up mainly of people who have progressed and developed their ability through attending Alter Ego dance classes.
The talent of our dancers is growing along with our repertoire of styles; as a result, our reputation is on the rise, and this is recognised in the size and prestige of our upcoming shows for 2008.
